How can I test a bot before using it?

  • Once you’ve set up your bot strategy, the final stage is establishing the “Workflow Details.”
  • In this stage, you will name the bot and provide various details on the investing strategy.
  • The last step in this stage is to establish the “Brokerage.”
  • Here, you would select Paper Trading, which tests the bot’s strategy without sending the trades to the actual market.
  • Paper Trading enables the bots to generate orders for execution without any financial impact on traders.

  • Alternatively, you can switch your bot between "paper trading" and "brokerage" trading by navigating to My Home, and toggle between these states. Find the columne "Brokerage" and click to activate brokerage trading with TradeStation or Tradier, or set to Paper Trading for testing purposes.
